What it does
Report what a sales pipeline actually holds — per stage, under YOUR stage names, with each stage's share of the total and a coverage ratio when you name a quota. Stage names are used verbatim and never mapped onto a stage vocabulary of this tool's own. WEIGHTED ONLY BY WIN RATES YOU SUPPLY, and every weighted figure states how many closed deals the rate was measured over — because a rate from four deals and one from four hundred print identically to two decimal places, and the sample size is the whole difference between them. A rate supplied without one is used and said to have none behind it. AN INTERVAL COMES FROM YOUR HISTORY OR FROM NOWHERE. Supply what you forecast in past periods and what actually closed, and the report states the range your forecasts have landed in and over how many periods. Supply nothing and no interval is reported. WHAT IT WILL NOT DO, and why that is the product. The agent this replaces shipped a constant named CONFIDENCE_MARGIN, set to 0.15, applied symmetrically around every forecast and labelled a confidence interval. Its own comment records that 15 percent as the accuracy target written into a ticket's success criteria. A confidence interval is a statement about how uncertain an estimate is, derived from the spread of the data behind it; a target is a hope. Printed as the other, a reader cannot tell them apart. The same file defaulted five stage win rates under a comment calling them an industry benchmark, citing nothing — and a stage win rate is the most company-specific number in a sales organisation. Three smaller refusals: no weighted total unless every stage carried a rate (summing only the rated ones makes the pipeline look smaller than it is, and the omission is invisible in a single number); a rate outside 0 to 1 is dropped rather than clamped, because a clamped rate is a number this tool chose printed as if it were yours; and a deal with no stage is reported unread rather than bucketed as "unknown", because a bucket carrying real money reads as a stage of the pipeline.

- Weight this pipeline using our own win rates: proposal 31% over 212 closed deals, negotiation 64% over 88.
- Our quota is 900k. What is our coverage ratio on this pipeline?
