What it does
The role agent for brand, social and PR work. It works on what you paste — a social export, a set of mentions, a style guide, the facts of an announcement. It reaches no platform, holds no credential and has no clock. Four capabilities. read_reach reports what your audience DID with the platform's distribution beside it rather than underneath it. check_brand_voice checks copy against the rules YOU state. read_mentions counts and characterises mentions without inferring a sentiment nobody expressed. draft_release assembles an announcement and marks every gap rather than filling it. What it will not do is the point. Engagement rate is never reported as a measure of your content. Its denominator is impressions — the platform's own decision — so the rate FALLS AS REACH SUCCEEDS: 20 responses from 200 people rates 10%, while 2,000 responses from 200,000 rates 1%. The second post reached a hundred times as many people and scores a tenth as well. Ranking content on that number ranks the algorithm's choices, not the writing. There is no on-brand score. Whether copy sounds like your brand is a judgement made by people who know it, and a number attached to that is agreement invented on your behalf — ask twice and it moves. There is also no built-in style guide, which is why every draft those tools approve sounds the same. A rule your spec omits is reported as UNCHECKED, never as a pass. No sentiment is inferred. A general classifier reads product talk backwards — "this is sick" is praise, "fine" is the lukewarm middle that decides renewals — and sarcasm is its known failure mode, so "great, another outage" scores positive. Your own labels are counted as yours, with the unlabelled share stated beside them. And no quote is ever written. A release quote is attributed to a named person on the record and reprinted verbatim, so generating one puts words in a real person's mouth and sends them to the press under that name — and if it is wrong, they said it. No credentials. Every capability reads data you paste, so there is no key to store, no host to reach and nothing to leak.
Separates what your audience did from what the platform chose to show them
